The Gracie Switchgear Temperature Monitoring G-HSM-18K GraceSense Hot Spot Monitor (HSM) is a non-conductive, continuous temperature monitoring and alarming device that identifies potential hot spots and enables users to predict the failures in electrical equipment. Intended for locations that are difficult and hazardous to access, the patented fiber optic technology provides constant temperature data from up to 9 or 18 independent sources (based on model selected). The non-conductive fiber optical probes can be mounted onto busbars, splices, disconnects, cable connections, or any source of resistive heat. The HSM identifies faults before they occur which saves money by preventing unplanned downtime, service interruptions and equipment failures.
